The aim of this work was to investigate the IP video management system MxControlCenter of the company Mobotix AG in order to achiev an optimization of the usability. This was first defined the concept of usability as well as various methods presented for measuring the usability. With the methods Heuristic Review and Think-Aloud were preformed usability testing and the results and evaluations were documented. Also a styleguid was defined.

In the course "Digital Video Broadcasting and Interactive Television" I realized in the two-man team a Philips Net TV service. The target group was “female, 9-14 years”. We assembled a services for a Philips Net TV for the soap “Schloss Einstein”. The implementation was carried out using the Philips Online Services SDK, CE-HTML and Java Script. Because of the use of programming language CE-HTML the application runs in CE-HTML browser and additionally in all "normal" browsers. Technical advance are a Philips television set with Philips Net TV function, a remote control function with control pad and a broadband internet connection.

In "Media Engineering" we designed in a four-man team an application for the micosoft surface. Our idea was an meeting desk. The aim of this desk is to avoid problems with beamer, to simplify document exchange and especially to save time. We also create personas and write a scenario.

In "3-D Anwendungspakete" I work on a scene with the 3-D grafik software Maya. The scene I worked is a car park scene. There I textured objekts, set lights and rendering in focus on differnce cameras.

In "Multimediaprojekt" I designed in a four-man Team a Blended Learning Course in Ilias. The subject was Human Computer Interaction. We installed Ilias on the sever, create a cource with matrial, flash videos and testing area. We also realised sign-in with the fh-data, different user groups and customize interface design.

In "Human Computer Interaction" I realised in a two man team a prototyp for a MP3-Kiosk. The target group of the MP3-kiosk are older people. Befor implement the prototye we created personas and scenarios.
